Seward is known far & wide as the Alaska Silver Salmon Fishing Capitol of the World and plays host to Alaska's largest silver salmon derby each August. In late June huge schools of Silver Salmon (Coho) begin to make their migratory return to the waters of Resurrection Bay. From late-June through mid-September these huge Alaska Salmon schools converge on this region, fattening up on schools of bait fish before continuing their journey upstream to spawn. It is commonplace for our guides to chum up huge schools of salmon that "boil" the water right at the boat. We offer the finest Alaska Salmon Fishing Charters!
