Terms, Conditions & Responsibilities
RESERVATION INFORMATION
Saltwater Safari Company requires a minimum 50% deposit on all reservations before the reserved date
can be confirmed.
The balance is due on the morning of your trip, prior to departure. All deposits and payments may be
made by cash,
traveler’s checks, local check or major credit card. Travel agencies, making reservations on
behalf of a client
must also adhere to this policy.
CANCELLATIONS MADE BY SALTWATER SAFARI COMPANY
Although we rarely cancel trips, we do reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason whatsoever,
including too
few participants, logistical problems, weather, mechanical failures, or circumstances which make the
operation of the
trip unadvisable. If we cancel a trip as aforementioned, we will refund all payments in full which
were made to
Saltwater Safari Company. Cancellations due to weather which are made on the fishing portion of
package trips will be
prorated and refunded. All other expenditures associated with package trips, including and not
limited to meals,
lodging, sightseeing tours, and any other associated expenditures, are non-refundable. This will be
the limit of
our responsibility. Saltwater Safari Company will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred
by you in preparing
for your trip, including non-refundable airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals, or any and
all related
trip expenditures. We recommend that you purchase trip insurance.
Weather cancellations will be left to our discretion, based on our experience and weather advisories
provided by the
National Weather Service. Trips may be delayed or cut short due to weather without any price
adjustments or refunds.
We reserve the right to transfer client's to any of our other vessels in the event of mechanical
failure, weather
conditions, too few participants or any other circumstances which may arise as we deem necessary.
CANCELLATIONS BY CLIENT
Failure to make full payment on your reservation or failure to check in at least 30 minutes prior to
departure,
or non-participation of a reserved activity are conditions which are considered a cancellation by
you, the client,
and there are no refunds. Cancellations made by the client at least 30 days prior to the scheduled
date of your
reservation will receive a full refund, less a non-refundable processing fee of 20% of the total
price of the reservation.
All cancellations that fall inside the 30-day cancellation window, prior to the reserved activity
are non-refundable.
We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance.
RESERVATIONS & CANCELLATIONS: OTHER OPERATORS
If you booked your trip with Saltwater Safari Company through a travel agent or booking agency and
decide to cancel your
trip, Saltwater Safari Company will only refund your agency as prescribed in the aforementioned
cancellation policy.
It is your responsibility to deal with your agent regarding refunds. The aforementioned cancellation
policy applies
to all clients, booking agents and travel agents.
