This offseason has been a busy one for us, with plenty of reservations coming in for the upcoming season! As usual, July and August are filling up fast, and it’s rare to find an open spot in those months as we get closer to our May start date. We highly recommend booking early, especially for groups of three or more.

If you want to beat the crowds, May is a great option. Charter rates are lower, and hotels and other accommodations also tend to have better pricing since it’s a shoulder month in Seward.

Our Full Day Offshore Charter is our most popular trip, targeting halibut, along with rockfish and cod. Once July arrives, we typically start seeing salmon as well, and lingcod season opens on July 1st. Last season, our biggest halibut was caught in May, with a close second in late August! A big midseason highlight came in July when we landed a 300+ lb salmon shark on the Legend—our second of the summer, following another caught on the Renegade in late May! Both were bycatch while halibut fishing, proving that you never know what you might hook into on our Full Day Offshore Trips!
