As usual, <strong>July and August are filling up fast<\/strong>, and it\u2019s rare to find an open spot in those months as we get closer to our May start date. We highly recommend booking early, especially for groups of three or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to <strong>beat the crowds<\/strong>, May is a great option. Charter rates are lower, and hotels and other accommodations also tend to have better pricing since it\u2019s a <strong>shoulder month<\/strong> in Seward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <strong>Full Day Offshore Charter<\/strong> is our most popular trip, targeting <strong>halibut<\/strong>, along with <strong>rockfish and cod<\/strong>. Once July arrives, we typically start seeing salmon as well, and <strong>lingcod season opens on July 1st<\/strong>. Last season, our <strong>biggest halibut<\/strong> was caught in May, with a close second in late August! A big midseason highlight came in July when we landed a <strong>300+ lb salmon shark<\/strong> on the <em>Legend<\/em>\u2014our second of the summer, following another caught on the <em>Renegade<\/em> in late May! Both were bycatch while halibut fishing, proving that you never know what you might hook into on our Full Day Offshore Trips!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>February through April are always busy months for reservations<\/strong>, so feel free to call us with any questions.
